Arbor View Veterinary Clinic located in Roseville, CA is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our practice! 

For over 16 years, we've provided high quality care for companion pets with our sterling customer service and the latest in surgical, laboratory and diagnostic equipment.   • You’ll benefit from our 2-tiered mentorship program which consists of day to day in hospital support from our experienced doctors as well as more broadly via our new-grad mentorship program at NVA- you’ll have an experienced doctor focused 100% on supporting our new grads in the area as well as be able to enjoy that network of support from fellow new grads. 

  • You are a seasoned GP doctor seeking a welcoming and supportive work environment. Bring your goals and unique needs to our discussion and see how we can offer customized support to make them a reality! 

  • You might be seeking an environment passionate about offering the tools, skill and resources needed for complex surgeries (not required!). You’ll enjoy both skilled collaboration AND top-quality equipment for surgeries like TPLOs, fracture repairs and more. 


What to expect at our hospital: 

  • Multi-doctor GP practice of 7 doctors. We are ever-growing! 

  • 2 to 1 staff for doctors in surgery, Appointments get 1:1 and two floaters supporting as well. 

  • Avimark software. 

  • High quality equipment including: digital radiography, dental radiographs, digital otoscopy, tonovet, orthopedic surgical equipment (including TPLO supplies), a high-quality ultrasound, in-house lab analyzers and a high-quality microscope. 

  • Funds set aside yearly to purchase equipment or meds that support the interests and needs of our doctors. Bring your special interests and let us know what you might like to see. 

  • Strong team culture: Our staff is amazing and genuinely enjoys working together. Friendsgiving, snacks, baked goods, pizza parties, coffee runs, paddle boarding on the weekends – we all prioritize high quality work and patient care and we balance it with a fun-loving work family. 


Scheduling That Prioritizes Work-Life Balance: 

  • Open to: Fulltime 

  • 4 days per week with rotated weekends, flexibility with scheduling-talk to us about what works for you. 

  • Surgery days are 7AM-5PM, Appointment days 8AM-6PM or 7PM. 

  • Closed between 12-2 for lunch and catch up. Time to be used at your discretion. 

  • Usually 1 day per week for surgery/doctor. 

  • 30 mins, flexibility for new grads. 


Compensation That Values You 

  • Pro-Sal compensation with a base negotiable dependent upon experience, ranging from $120k-$160k. 

  • 10K Sign-On Bonus (must start employment in 2024) 

  • Generous vacation and sick time. 

  • Benefits- medical, dental and vision insurance. 401K with an employee match. 

  • Paid CE days and generous CE allowance as well as paid dues.

Qualifications: 

  • Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program  

  • CA has eliminated the state board exam!
