About Kernersville Veterinary Hospital:
  • We are a small animal hospital equipped with two exam rooms and two surgical suites, plus a dedicated dental station
  • Our services include general wellness care, dentistry, diagnostic services, surgery, laser therapy, travel certificates, and end-of-life care
  • We offer in-house ultrasounds, digital radiographic diagnostics, tonopen procedures, and an in-house laboratory to support fast and accurate diagnosis and treatment

The Day to Day:
  • Provide medical leadership and direction to the veterinary team
  • Oversee the quality of care and medical protocols across the hospital
  • Foster a positive, supportive environment that promotes learning, collaboration, and teamwork
  • Ensure exceptional client service and education
  • Work closely with hospital management to meet financial and operational goals
  • Maintain a regular schedule of clinical duties alongside leadership responsibilities

Skills and Basic Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university · Prior leadership experience
  • Active North Carolina veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A team-oriented leader who motivates and mentors others
  • Passion for client education and delivering excellent patient care

Compensation: 
  • $120,000 - $140,000 base salary (depending on experience)
  • This position is eligible for production-based bonuses
