Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst, GP Applications & Products will serve as the Technology Services point-of-contact for General Practice solutions to support NVA’s hospital functions including, PIMS, third party applications, non-enterprise applications, etc. The GP Applications team is currently building and supporting the road map for hospital applications that will align with NVA’s business strategies to support increased process efficiencies and high growth trajectory.


As the Business Systems Analyst, GP Applications & Products, you will translate desired business requirements and outcomes to technical solutions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Act as liaison between business stakeholders, technology team members and 3rd party vendors to implement enterprise applications solutions
· Understand business problems and apply best practice methodologies to define, scope, document, and validate the requirements
· Create user stories
· Continually assess business needs and opportunities with business leaders to improve processes and technology solutions
· Create business processes maps to define to-be-processes
· Participate in technology evaluation (RFI, RFP and other system selection efforts) to ensure that selected solution meets current and future business requirements
· Develop test cases and test scripts for unit, user, end-to-end, regression and integration testing
· Participate and provide required support for testing activities
· Provide on-going support for GP applications including systems administration, problem research and issue resolution
· Analyze data to maintain data integrity, security and controls
· Develop reports and dashboards using standard reporting tools
· Maintain and update appropriate project and support documentation including business requirements documents, SOPs and end user training guide etc.
· Act as BA and project manager to deliver small to medium technology initiatives
· Monitor and report user adoption of deployed solutions


Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Information System or Technology, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
· At least 5 years of experience with veterinary and/or medical systems OR compatible combination of education and experience
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of information required
· Experience with supporting ITSM, HRSD platform (ServiceNow), Intranet portal (LumApps), low-code/no-code platforms (QuickBase, Smartsheet, Lucidchart) – are a Plus


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Strong expertise in evaluating, implementing and supporting SaaS and on prem platforms (Service Managemenent, Intranet Portal, Employee Service Center, Collaboration, low-code/no-code platforms)
· Possess a core competency in system usage, configuration and modification
· Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and dashboard visualization tools
· Passionate about process improvement, learning new technologies and providing outstanding customer service by providing systems support
· Professional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to perform root cause analysis
· Effective analytical and problem solving skills
· Excellent time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
· Ability to train and assist others with systems usage
· Diligent work ethic. Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done
· Ability to collaborate effectively to drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders

The compensation range for this position is $78,000 - $83,000 and is eligible for bonus and benefits.
