The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hospital Manager to lead our expanding team in Williamsburg. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Managing Veterinarian to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the hospital. Your leadership will drive revenue growth, manage costs, and foster a culture focused on top-notch patient care and exceptional customer service. Regular on-site attendance is essential to effectively manage hospital operations and engage with clients and staff.


Responsibilities:

  • Take complete ownership of the hospital's Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, ensuring financial performance aligns with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to identify trends and forecast the hospital's needs.
  • Manage accounts receivable to maintain financial health.
  • Oversee hospital inventory and control facility and administrative costs.
  • Manage payroll and develop staff schedules to optimize labor costs.
  • Champion change by identifying, documenting, sharing, and promoting best practices.
  • Lead the hospital team to enhance processes and workflows, covering client service, operations, and administrative tasks.
  • Implement new technologies and initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Establish and drive a positive and cohesive hospital culture.
  • Ensure all DVMs maintain current licensures.
  • Provide constructive feedback and handle challenging conversations with professionalism.
  • Demonstrate and reinforce the highest level of client service.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, including customer service experience.
  • Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based industry setting in positions of increased responsibility is a plus.
