Job Description

Swift Creek Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is looking to grow by adding experienced Veterinary Assistants to our team!  We are looking for individuals that are ready to jump in and help us provide the best care for our patients.  We offer competitive pay, PTO, flexible schedule, and the best team of veterinarians and coworkers you will find!

We are looking for 1 to 3 years of experience and is well versed in restraining patients and rooming appointments.  An interest in surgery is a plus but not a requirement.

Duties include but not limited to the following:

* Cleaning rooms, floors, laundry

*Assisting during appointments

*Assisting with Surgery

*Blood draws

*Assisting with Vacciantions

*Bathing Pets

*X-rays

*Care of Instruments and Clippers

*General Hospital Cleaning

*Assisting with Inventory

*Communicating with Clients

*Communicating with Doctors

*Communicating with team mates

*Communicating with Referral Clinices

*Submitting prescriptions

*You must be able to lift up to 40 lbs multiple times a day

*Entering information into patient records:  Charges, previous history, reports, etc.
