Pinnacle Peak Animal Hospital in North Scottsdale is adding a part-time or full-time experienced Veterinary Technician to our team. Our hospital is routed in the community and our clients and team members are like family.

The Ideal Candidate
- Previous veterinary experience REQUIRED with a good knowledge of veterinary medicine
- Previous anesthesia, surgical preparation and assistance experience is REQUIRED
- Previous dentistry experience REQUIRED
- Passion for learning & caring for animals
- Team player who is willing to take initiative to jump in and help the team
- Self starter
- Ability to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Cornerstone knowledge is a plus (not required)
- Outstanding client service and exceptional patient care
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Support DVM, Tech and CSR teams
- Patient care
- Triage of patients
- Collection and analysis of lab samples
- Diagnostic imaging
- Management and nursing care of hospitalized pets
- Administration of enteral and parenteral medications
- Effective communication with team members and clients
- An understanding of veterinary medicine including vaccines and preventative protocols
- Surgery and Dentistry Support
- Most importantly: loving what you do
Job Type: Part-time (under 30 hours) or Full-time (over 30 hours)
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
