Equine Hospital Client Service Representative & Pharmacy Assistant

 

Are you passionate about customer service and equine care? South Shore Equine Clinic is seeking a full-time or part-time Client Service Representative & Inventory/Pharmacy Assistant to support our clients, veterinarians, and team.

 

About the Role:

 

This unique position combines client communication with inventory and pharmacy responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless client experiences while also managing critical inventory and medication supplies to support our veterinary team.

 

Client Service Duties:

  • Manage client communications via phone, email, and text.
  • Schedule appointments with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and client education.
  • Process payments, discuss balances, and handle invoicing.
  • Organize and maintain client records and documentation.
  • Support the overall organization and function of the front office.

Inventory & Pharmacy Support:

  • Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking veterinary supplies and medications.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Prepare prescriptions and ensure compliance with veterinary regulations.
  • Maintain proper labeling, documentation, and storage of medications.
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with pharmacy-related needs.

Who We're Looking For:

  • A mature, detail-oriented professional with prior customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • An equestrian with a minimum of 5 years of horse experience with professional references within the equine community.
  • Someone with basic knowledge of equine health and terminology 
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy workplace.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, tablets, and cloud-based software.
  • Ability to work 1-2 Saturdays per month (7:45 AM – 1:00 PM).
