Animal Medical Center of Plainfield is seeking dedicated Overnight ER Veterinary Assistants to support our state-of-the-art emergency department in Plainfield, IL. As a 15-doctor, full-service General Practice and Emergency hospital, we provide life-saving care to pets across the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. · Competitive Pay & Shift Differentials – $18-$24 /hour based on experience, plus overnight pay differential.

Position Details & Requirements:

· Overnight ER Veterinary Assistant – Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience in veterinary medicine, with an interest in emergency and critical care.

· Hands-On Training & Mentorship – We provide training in triage, surgical prep, ICU patient care, and emergency procedures.

· Full-Time Opportunities Available

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in triaging incoming ER patients

· Support veterinarians and technicians during emergency procedures

· Set up and maintain ICU patient care areas

· Monitor IV fluid therapy and assist with patient stabilization

· Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and surgical suite

· Provide compassionate care to patients and clients in stressful situations
