At Stoughton Veterinary Service, we’re looking for a dependable, compassionate technician to join our close-knit team just south of Madison, WI.

We are looking for a CVT with clinical experience, ideally someone who is confident in surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring. While our ideal candidate brings hands-on experience, we may consider a veterinary technician student if they demonstrate exceptional potential and a strong interest in the position.

At Stoughton Veterinary Service, our technicians are trusted and empowered to do what they were trained for. We ensure our CVTs are involved in every aspect of patient care, including:

 

  • Hands-on surgical prep and anesthesia monitoring
  • Dental cleanings, dental radiographs, and post-op care
  • Performing in-house lab work, running diagnostics, and assisting with radiology and cytology
  • Providing client education and support in both wellness and sick patient care

What We’re Looking For

  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) required
  • Will consider a student or a new graduate with a great attitude, passion for patient care, and a strong desire to learn
  • A team player with strong communication skills
  • Someone who thrives in a family-oriented, small-town practice

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive pay: $18.00 - $25.00/hour, based on experience
  • 4-day workweek with one Saturday morning per month
