Just 45 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Sanibel Island, Best Friends Animal Hospital is seeking a passionate veterinarian to join our growing team.


Since 2004, we’ve been providing quality veterinary care in a warm, welcoming environment. Our doctors stay current with the latest medical treatments and technologies, including digital full-body and dental x-rays, cold laser therapy, ultrasound, and surgical lasers. We’re proud to support our community through partnerships with rescue organizations and outreach programs.

Skills and Basic Qualifications:

  • Any experience level considered
  • Prefer a strong surgical background, but not required 
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university 
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Florida. 
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
