1) Licensed Veterinary Technicians

AND

2) Veterinary Technicians in Training

 

  • The base hourly range for this position is $22-$29. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

We are a full service, 6 doctor, small animal hospital offering state of the art diagnostic and treatment modalities for dogs, cats, birds, turtles, and tortoises as well as ferrits, guinea pigs and rats. About You:

  • You are a Veterinary Technician (Licensed and/or Experienced) with outstanding client service skills and excellent patient care .
  • Quick on your feet, you are a dynamic and efficient worker who contributes to the operation of the entire hospital , helping to get all the day’s duties done!
  • You can adapt to the individual needs of each patient, are eager to continue enhancing your skill set, and truly want to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
  • You have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to):

o Patient assessment and physical examinations

o Phlebotomy and catheter placement

o Knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique

o Anesthesia monitoring proficiency

o Perioperative surgical nursing skills

o Routine dental prophylaxis experience

o Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures

Anticipated Schedule (TBD):

· Full-time or Part Time options

· Our hospital is open: Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm
