Associate Veterinarian – Mentorship-Focused Role

South Saskatchewan Animal Hospital | Regina, SK

You’ve built a career in veterinary medicine—now you’re ready to use that experience in a different way. If you’re passionate about mentorship and excited to guide newer DVMs, this could be the next meaningful step in your career.

South Saskatchewan Animal Hospital, is an AAHA-accredited GP/ER hybrid clinic in Regina. Our caseload is dynamic, but it’s the supportive culture and the impact we have on our community that truly sets us apart! What You’ll Do:

• Lead the mentorship and development of less experienced veterinarians

• Help shape onboarding plans and provide clinical oversight

• Support DVMs in their cases and professional growth with a mix of days that are more consultative than appointment-heavy

• Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve our learning environment

• Help coordinate flow and communication between DVMs and support team

Who We’re Looking For:
• A DVM who has been fully licensed in Saskatchewan for at least 3 years
• A mentor who enjoys supporting and developing others
• Interest in building onboarding systems and coaching new grads, early-career, and supervised license DVMs

Why Join Us?
• Primarily daytime hours with flexibility in scheduling (FT or PT)
• Opportunities for remote work when appropriate
• Work in a modern, well-equipped hospital with U/S, C/T, extensive in house lab and more
• A meaningful opportunity to leave a legacy through mentorship

If you’re a DVM who still has a lot to offer but wants to give back in a new way, we’d love to talk to you. We are pleased to offer a competitive compensation package including health/dental benefits, RRSP matching, CE, licensing fees, VIN, uniform allowance, paid vacation and sick days and more.
