Job Description
Are you a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Surgical Technician looking to join a dedicated and dynamic team? Come join us at Acoaxet Veterinary Clinic in Westport, Massachusetts!
What You’ll Do:
- Assist veterinarians in surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and patient prep
- Maintain sterile surgical environments and manage surgical instruments
- Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient charts
- Support the team with general tech duties as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience in a veterinary setting
- Certification (CVT, LVT, RVT) preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia protocols and surgical/dental procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for animal care and client service
