Job Description

LeGallais Veterinary Hospital is looking to hire a part time or full time technician to join our growing team. Our hospital has been an active member of the Aurora community for over 20 years, with a loyal client following. Our focus is to provide our clients with exceptional service and top notch veterinary care, while maintaining our warm and friendly atmosphere. We are looking for a self-motivated, compassionate, confident, and flexible individual with the ability to multi-task to join our growing team.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to blood collection, lab work, client communication, digital radiology, anesthetic administration, dental cleaning and radiographs, surgical monitoring, assisting veterinarians and some general cleaning.

We offer routine surgeries, dentistry, digital dental radiographs, digital radiographs and new in house Idexx lab machines and ultrasound.

 

We offer paid continuing education, paid OAVT dues, uniform allowance, a comprehensive benefits package, paid sick days and time off, along with generous veterinary care and pet supply discounts. Successful candidate must be able to work some evenings and weekends (Saturday).

 

The right candidate would ideally have their RVT status or be working towards getting it and would have experience in the field however we would consider a skilled new veterinary technician graduate.
