Job Overview  
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Care attendant to provide exceptional care for pets. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and the ability to handle various breeds and sizes with confidence. Open availability is required.  MUST be able to work weekends, and holidays. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy spending time with pets and can ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness while their owners are away. 

Responsibilities  

  • Provide daily care for pets such as, walking, cleaning cabins and runs, and  

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the pets during their stay including monitoring their behavior and health and communicating any changes to the Lead on shift. 

  • Maintain a clean environment.    

  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding the pet's needs and any concerns that may arise during their stay  

  • Perform basic cleaning tasks such as: Dishes, Landry, sweeping, mopping, trash collection, pooper scooping, lawn maintenance, cleaning kennel, etc 

  • Handle any emergencies or unexpected situations with calmness and professionalism.  

  • Maintain accurate records of pet care activities, including feeding schedules and health observations and medicating 

Experience  

  • Previous experience in pet care, such as pet sitting, veterinary assistance, or animal handling, is preferred.  

  • Familiarity with animal restraint techniques to ensure safe handling of pets during care.  

  • Experience working in a kennel or veterinary setting is a plus.  

  • Ability to lift heavy pets when required and manage multiple animals at once.
