NVA Pet Resorts is looking for a Vice President of Finance to lead the business!

Job Summary:

The VP of Finance is responsible for driving business growth through effective decision support, strategic financial planning, and data-driven insights. The Vice President guides the organizations in making sound financial decisions to optimize profitability and operational efficiency. He/She must bring a servant leadership and business partnership approach fostering collaboration, empowering teams, and cultivating a culture of accountability and excellence.

Responsibilities:

· Partner with executive management to develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that align with organizational goals

· Develop and present digestible operational reporting to the executive team that includes an in-depth analysis of revenue trends, margin controls, KPIs, data insights and key management recommendations

· Lead the annual budget and subsequent forecast processes with a focus on optimizing revenue and profitability growth

· Develop and maintain processes to monitor the ramp of new locations including monthly performance reviews, five-year ramp projections and improvement plans for under performers

· Oversee a high-performance data science team, providing strategic direction that aligns with business objectives and enhances decision making

· Work with various teams to align data initiatives with organizational priorities and translate technical concepts into understandable insights

· Liaise with accounting, tax and treasury functions to ensure financials are accurately recorded and presented on a monthly basis

· Be a thoughtful partner to the President and executive team with regard to shaping the Pet Resorts business model and strategy

· Manage a team of finance, business intelligence and engineering professionals including mentorship and career development

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or other relevant field. Advance degree is a plus but not required

· 15+ years of relevant experience working in a hands-on operational finance capacity with a track record of delivering process and financial improvements

· Experience working in a high growth environment

· Advanced in MS Excel (Index-Match, Sum-If, Indirect, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

· Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI is a plus

· Solid understanding of US-GAAP accounting policies

· Excellent critical thinking and presentation skills; proven ability to dissect problems and develop/communicate solutions clearly, concisely, and completely

· Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities with strong experience interacting with and presenting to C-level executives


Compensation: The salary range for this position is $250,000 to $270,000 and based on applicable experience.
