Elmwood Grove Animal Hospital is a cutting-edge, full-service small animal hospital in a premier suburb just west of Chicago, seeking a Managing Veterinarian to lead our talented 7-doctor team. Trusted in the community since 1972, we pair long-standing client relationships with technology and support to practice medicine at the highest level.


The Opportunity:

   Lead a well-established 7-doctor team as Managing Veterinarian

   Oversee surgical and medical cases while upholding high clinical standards and exceptional client care

   Mentor and guide associate veterinarians and staff in a collaborative, positive environment

   Partner with an experienced Hospital Manager on operations, with a clear pathway toward practice ownership

   At least 5-7 years of experience as a DVM in a small animal GP or urgent care setting, plus leadership skills and financial acumen are required for this role

ProSal Compensation & Benefits:

   Starting salary of $150,000–$170,000 plus production and leadership bonuses

   401(k) with company match

   Access to CE courses (dentistry, ultrasound, surgery, and more) at NVA’s nearby PetOne Training Center in Addison, IL

   Professional liability coverage, DEA and state licensing, and VIN membership

   PTO, paid CE, and CE/licensing reimbursement
