Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

Evergreen Animal Hospital

Job Description

Licensed Veterinary Technician – Skilled, Caring & Client-Focused 🐾

We’re looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team—someone who has a passion for animal care, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in their technical skills.

Our practice is busy, supportive, and aware of our purpose. We work hard to provide excellent care for our patients and a positive experience for their people. If you’re the kind of LVT who can jump in to help with a grumpy cat one minute and then reassure a nervous client the next, we’d love to meet you!

What you’ll be doing:

·         Provide skilled patient care including IV catheter placement, venipuncture, fluid therapy, and medication administration

·         Perform dental prophylaxis, radiographs, laboratory procedures, and diagnostic testing

·         Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery

·         Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient safety at all times

·         Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, offering education and guidance on treatment plans and preventive care

·         Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture focused on high-quality medicine and compassionate service

What we’re looking for:

·         Current LVT license (or eligibility to obtain)

·         Strong technical and nursing skills—you love putting your knowledge to work

·         Excellent communication skills with both teammates and clients

·         A positive, team-oriented and fun-loving attitude

Why you’ll love working here:

·         A supportive team where your skills and input are valued

·         A hospital culture that mixes professionalism with laughter

·         The chance to build strong relationships with clients and their pets

What We Offer:

·         Base hourly rate of $27.00 - $30.00 DOE

·         Health, dental, and vision insurance for full time employees

·         401(k)

·         Paid time off and paid holidays

·         Continuing education allowance and license renewals covered

·         Uniform allowance

·         Employee pet care discounts

·         Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth and advancement

If you’re ready to bring your expertise, compassion, and people skills to a practice that appreciates both hard work and fun, we want to hear from you!
