Kennel Assistant Role Requirements

  • This position requires a large amount of cleaning, attention to detail is a must!
  • Veterinary hospital experience a plus
  • An employee in this position must have a sense of caring for animals 
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings as needed
  • We are open to Full time or Part time applicants

Kennel Assistant Responsibilities

  • Various aspects of animal care including walking, feeding, and providing TLC!
  • Cleaning and maintaining kennels, cages, floors, dishes, and surgery instruments
  • Preparing Surgery instruments for sterlization and running sterilization equipment
  • Restocking
  • Assisting veterinarians, veterinary assistants and veterinary technicians as needed. 

The base hourly range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role and level of responsibilities. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a periodic bonus.
