Veterinary Technician

Table Mountain Veterinary Clinic – Colorado

Table Mountain Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our well-established, four-doctor practice located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. We are looking for full-time candidates and welcome both credentialed and experienced non-credentialed technicians who are passionate about high-quality medicine and collaborative teamwork.

Our hospital sits at the intersection of general practice and urgent care, providing a dynamic and engaging clinical environment. With a loyal client base and a commitment to seeing urgent cases whenever possible, no two days are the same.

About the Practice

  • Four-doctor team with exceptional tenure (9–30+ years in practice)
  • Highly respected within the local community
  • Doctor-forward practice model with technicians focused on procedures, diagnostics, and patient care
  • Dedicated surgery days with hands-on technician involvement (dentals, spay/neuter, foreign body surgeries)
  • In-house IDEXX laboratory and collaboration with radiology specialists
  • Occasional exposure to exotic cases in addition to companion animal medicine

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Perform venipuncture, collect and run laboratory samples, and take diagnostic radiographs
  • Place IV catheters, administer medications and fluids, and monitor anesthesia
  • Support dental procedures including scaling and polishing
  • Assist with surgical preparation and patient recovery
  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital cleanliness and organization
  • Provide compassionate care and professional communication with clients

Qualifications

  • Prior veterinary technician experience required
  • RVT/CVT/LVT credential preferred but not required
  • Strong technical skill set, particularly in anesthesia, dentals, and laboratory work
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
  • Compassionate, professional approach to both patients and clients

Compensation & Benefits

  • $17–$21 per hour, based on experience and credentials
