Do you love spending your day surrounded by wagging tails, wet noses, and playful energy? Nebraska Animal Medical Center is looking for a dedicated Daycare & Boarding Assistant to join our growing team!

About the Role

Our daycare and boarding assistants are responsible for ensuring every pet in our care has a safe, clean, and happy experience. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining our high standards of care and helping our clients feel confident that their pets are in loving hands.

Daily duties include:

  • Caring for dogs and cats in our daycare and boarding facility

  • Feeding and watering animals according to schedule and dietary needs

  • Supervising and engaging in playgroups and individual play sessions

  • Monitoring animal behavior and alerting medical staff to concerns

  • Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, play areas, and equipment

  • Walking dogs and providing enrichment throughout the day

  • Working closely with an energetic, supportive team

Who We’re Looking For

  • Animal lover with a positive, team-oriented attitude

  • Reliable and punctual — pets depend on you!

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes messy environment

  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods

  • Previous animal care or kennel experience preferred but not required
