East Brunswick Animal Hospital is a full-service companion animal hospital that has been serving central NJ since 1989.  Our multi-doctor practice enjoys the support of a well-trained and highly utilized technical support staff, and access to high-quality diagnostic, treatment, and surgical equipment. 
 
About the position:

The Associate Veterinarian (ADVM) is responsible for the medical and surgical care of patients in the exam room and in the hospital.  This includes maintaining client relationships and effectively communicating the care needs and condition of their pet.  Medical records are maintained accurately and legibly, and estimates are presented to clients in advance of care, as appropriate.  The ADVM is considered a member of the hospital’s management team and is therefore responsible for supporting the hospital leadership and NVA. 

Basic Skills and Qualifications:

• Graduation from an AVMA-accredited college or having successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program 
• Strong communication skills: written, verbal, and listening
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong working knowledge of veterinary medicine
• Functional computer skills; workable typing ability
• Able to think rationally and logically; able to make quick, decisive decisions
• Able to give, receive, and follow directions
• Able to provide training and support to colleagues and support team members
• Must be a team player with strong client relationships! 
• East Brunswick supports their doctors' pursuits of alternative techniques and areas of interest
 
Compensation:
• Base salary of $110,000-$140,000 (dependent on experience) 
• Production-based bonuses
• Sign-on, retention, and relocation bonuses available
