Veterinary Assistant - Rose Valley Veterinary Hospital Location: West Kelowna, British Columbia

- Previous veterinary or animal care experience is an asset

- Initiative and reliability when completing tasks independently
Your Role
- Assisting veterinarians and technicians with patient care, using low-stress handling techniques
- Supporting the client care team and occasionally helping at reception as needed
- Preparing medications and supplies for clients (under DVM or RVT direction)
- Providing attentive care to hospitalized patients, including feeding, walking, and comfort
- Handling, cleaning, and sterilizing surgical equipment
- Helping keep the hospital running smoothly with general cleaning, restocking, and maintenance duties
Compensation
Starting at $18.00/hour, with increases based on experience.
