National Veterinary Associates is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Veterinary Hospital Manager to lead one of our growing hospitals in Glendale, AZ. This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who is passionate about veterinary medicine and wants to make a meaningful impact on both patients and people.

As Hospital Manager, you’ll partner closely with the Managing Veterinarian to help shape the future of the hospital—leading day-to-day operations, supporting a collaborative and positive culture, and ensuring both the medical team and clients feel supported every step of the way.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing many hats, leading through change, mentoring teams, improving processes, and helping a hospital grow and thrive.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support daily hospital operations
  • Partner with the Managing Veterinarian and regional leadership team
  • Drive hospital performance with full P&L ownership
  • Create schedules and manage labor costs effectively
  • Support and develop a high-performing, engaged team
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable hospital culture
  • Oversee payroll, inventory, accounts receivable, and administrative functions
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and client experience
  • Implement new initiatives, technology, and operational best practices
  • Navigate coaching conversations and provide ongoing team feedback
  • Ensure exceptional service for both clients and patients

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of leadership or management experience
  • Experience in veterinary medicine, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or another fast-paced service environment preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for team development
  • Ability to balance business operations with compassionate people leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
