Come and join Maritime Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center - our 24,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art hospital in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We seek a Criticalist interested in managing complex cases and collaborating with the local veterinary community and our hospital team. Someone that would like the ability to help build a department from scratch and have a say in choosing equipment would be an asset.

Your Critical Care service would be supported by Surgery, Internal Medicine, Exotics, Neurology, Cardiology, Radiology, Rehab and a strong 24/7 Emergency team.

Our hospital is fully equipped with everything you need to practice high-quality medicine, including separate canine and feline ICUs, multiple Snyder oxygen kennels, high flow oxygen, comprehensive in-house lab, ultrasound, endoscopy, CT, MRI, defibrillator, and invasive blood pressure monitoring capability.
