Veterinarian

Mason Family Pet Hospital

Job Description

Join a High-Energy, High-Growth Veterinary Team in Northeast Cincinnati!

Mason Family Pet Hospital is thrilled to welcome a compassionate, motivated Associate Veterinarian to our expanding team!

Whether you're a new graduate, a pocket-pet or exotics enthusiast, or a dedicated small animal clinician, this is your chance to join a practice that truly celebrates your interests and supports your professional growth.

We are a busy, well-respected 5-doctor hospital growing to add a 6th full-time veterinarian, allowing us to continue delivering exceptional care to our thriving patient community.

Why Mason?

Located in beautiful Northeast Cincinnati, Mason is one of the region’s most desirable places to live — known for top-tier schools, welcoming neighborhoods, and fantastic dining, shopping, and recreation. It’s the perfect place to build both a career and a life.

Why Mason Family Pet Hospital?

Our hospital is a modern, recently expanded, and fully equipped facility, surrounded by excellent local specialists for advanced case support. With a talented team of 25 dedicated staff members — including 4 licensed RVTs — we work together to deliver compassionate, honest, gold standard veterinary care.

Teamwork isn’t just a value here — it’s how we operate every day.
Each doctor is supported by two assistants/RVTs during appointments and a two-tech surgery team (one RVT + one assistant) to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional patient care.

With 15 exam rooms, this lighthearted team is one that get along well, collaborate and support each other both on a personal and professional level. Always looking for ways to give back to the community and each other. Culture is second to none, at Mason Family!

Who We’re Looking For

A veterinarian who is:
• Genuinely invested in pets and their people
• An excellent communicator
• Excited about collaboration and a supportive team culture
• Interested in exotics, pocket pets, rabbits, or reptiles (a plus, not a must!)
• Open to orthopedics? Even better — but also not required!

If you love variety, enjoy mentorship or mentoring opportunities, and want to grow in a clinic where your interests are celebrated, this role is for you.

What We Offer

Minimum $120,000 base salary (DOE) + production incentives. Exp. Doctors could see close to $200k annually.
Generous CE allowance + dedicated CE time off
• Full suite of health, dental, vision & wellness benefits
401(k) with match
• A full-time schedule: 4 days per week with every 2nd-3rd Saturday rotation.
NO emergency duty
Rotating Saturdays for better work-life balance
• Access to NVA’s General Practice Mentorship Program — the perfect bridge between clinical rotations and confident, real-world practice
