 Crest Hill Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our close-knit, supportive team. If you enjoy hands-on patient care, a positive culture, and the opportunity to fully utilize your skills—this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

 Assist with exams, patient care, and client communication

·         Work collaboratively with the veterinarian to ensure all animals are being cared for properly and moving through the system efficiently. 

·         Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab work

·         Prepare and administer medications and vaccines

·         Collects, prepares, and labels samples for lab testing, culture or microscopic examination

·         Maintains Clean examination rooms and treatment areas

 

What We’re Looking For

·         2+ years of veterinary experience and CVT (LVT/RVT) licensure.

·         Strong technical skills and attention to detail

·         Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment

·         Ability to effectively handle and restrain aggressive animals

·         Positive, team-oriented mindset

·         Passion for patient care and continued growth

 

Schedule

·         Part-Time

·         Monday–Friday: 2pm–7pm

·         Rotating Saturdays: 8am–2pm

 

 What We Offer

·         Pay Range: $19–$23/hour, based on experience and credentials

·         Sign on bonus, paid out 90 days after employment
