Associate Veterinarian
Westview Veterinary Hospital
Job Description
Westview Veterinary Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our 4-doctor, AAHA-accredited team in beautiful Powell River, BC. This is an excellent opportunity for a DVM looking to enjoy a high quality of life in a welcoming coastal community while practicing advanced small animal medicine.
Powell River offers stunning ocean views, endless outdoor recreation, mild winters, and a significantly lower cost of living than many BC cities. Whether you enjoy hiking, kayaking, fishing, mountain biking, or simply spending time by the water, this community offers an incredible lifestyle balance.
Our hospital is well-equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound (including echocardiography), and orthopedic and endoscopy capabilities, allowing you to work up a wide variety of cases alongside an experienced and collaborative team.
We are open to discussing your scheduling preferences, including options for evening or overnight shifts if you’re more of a night owl! We offer a salary of $120K - $140K, plus monthly production bonus opportunities, signing/retention bonus, relocation allowance, health/dental benefits, RRSP contributions, CE and more.
