Job Description

Merrimack Veterinary Hospital is hiring for a FULL TIME experienced veterinary technician to join our team.  We are a well established, full service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care.

If you enjoy working with people and their pets and have specific experience with the surgical and technical aspects of companion animal care - please apply.  Excellent client communication skills and a commitment to outstanding client services is essential.  Schedule to include 8-10hr shifts and some Saturdays.

At least 1 year of experience preferred.

CVT license and surgery experience a must.

Primary Duties Include : surgery prep, dental cleanings, dental x-rays, anesthesia induction & monitoring, IV catheter placement, Laboratory (In-house & IDEXX send out), staining / prepping / reading cytology's.  Exam room duties, client education, client services, compassion, administering vaccinations and performing blood draws.
