St. Johns Veterinary Hospital, in historic St. Augustine, FL is seeking an experienced veterinary technician to help us grow our busy practice that sees dogs, cats, and exotics.
Our facility offers 6 exam rooms, a cat only waiting room and exam room, in house laboratory, radiology, ultrasonography, and more. Our practice is paperless and uses Avimark.
The ideal candidate will have small animal experience (we are happy to teach exotic experience), be dependable, a team player, positive attitude, and have wonderful time management. Excellent communication skills are necessary.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: client education, patient management, anesthesia, radiology, technician appointments, dentals, patient restraint, in-house lab testing, and rotating throughout positions in the hospital. After hour emergencies are referred to emergency hospitals in the area.
