Veterinary Surgeon

Red Bank Veterinary Hospitals - Mount Laurel

Job Description

Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Mount Laurel, NJ, is seeking an additional surgeon to join our team. We’re looking for a collaborative, team-oriented individual who thrives in a supportive and dynamic environment. Our doctors are experienced, with our emergency team averaging five years of tenure. We pride ourselves on our culture and ensure that our doctors are happy and well-supported. Our hospital director, a veterinarian herself, understands the unique needs and challenges our doctors face.

Our state-of-the-art facility is fully equipped with the latest technology, and our skilled, dedicated technicians provide outstanding support to our veterinary surgeons. The surgical team consists of two technicians and a veterinary assistant for each surgeon, and we’re proud to have a credentialed veterinary technician as our surgery supervisor. Mentorship is an important aspect of our hospital, and we’re excited to offer leadership and hands-on training to our new surgeon if needed.

We offer a highly competitive compensation package that includes a guaranteed base salary with additional production incentives, whichever is greater. Total earnings, including production, typically range from $200,000 to $500,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and caseload. For new residents, we provide 10 weeks of paid time off to prepare for the ACVS boards. Additional benefits include a lifestyle bonus, long-term retention plan options, comprehensive health coverage, 401(k), continuing education allowance, paid vacation, relocation assistance, and a flexible, desirable work schedule.

Mount Laurel offers a great balance of suburban comfort with easy access to urban amenities, especially being close to Philadelphia. Our town is known for its top-rated schools, making it an ideal spot for families. The parks, recreational facilities, and green spaces provide plenty of outdoor activities. Plus, it’s convenient for commuting, with well-connected roads and public transit options. With a variety of restaurants, shopping centers, and entertainment options, there’s always something to do. The sense of community is strong, and overall, it’s a welcoming and safe environment.
