Job Description

Lilley Veterinary Medical Center is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team.  We are a three doctor communtity practice located in Canton, Michigan with a loyal clientele that has been in business since 1975.  Lilley Veterinary Medical Center provides treatment for cats and dogs in the areas of, dental care, vaccinations, wellness exams, ultrasounds, radiology, surgery, pain management, internal medicine, precriptions and nutritional counseling.

Qualifications: Certified Veterinary Technician in Michigan with a minimum one-year experience.  Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to critically think and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.  

Job duties include, but are not limited to: triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of enteral and parenteral medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.  Hourly rate ranging from $20 to $25.  Benefit package included for full time employment, (30 hours/week), medical, vision, dental, 401K, and PTO.
