As an AAHA accredited hospital, we are committed to the highest standards in veterinary medicine. The ideal candidate for the role of Veterinary Technician will enjoy being part of a collaborative and will be a driver of hospital procedures, focusing on creating an exceptional customer experience. They will take pride in offering unmatched compassionate care, ensuring our communication with our clients is clear and understood. They are a pivotal piece of the workflow, establishing efficient movement of patients and clients through their appointments.

Individuals in this position will be tasked with efficiently and accurately relaying medical information related to clients regarding their pets. We utilize multiple forms of communication with our clients, including phone, texting, and email. A successful candidate will thrive in a multitasking environment. As a technician, you will assist in animal restraint, executing treatment plans as directed by the veterinarian, venipuncture, pre- and post-operative care, triage/discharge of patients. You must be confident in all aspects of basic and advanced animal care, including but not limited to restraint, taking radiographs, assisting in surgery / anesthetic monitoring, IV catheter placement, running diagnostic lab tests, administering medications, and phlebotomy. Must be able to work independently and provide support to coworkers and veterinarians. A successful candidate will have a thirst for constantly learning, adapting, and growing. We utilize Cornerstone Software, previous experience with this system is a plus.
