Job Description

Inland Empire Veterinary Imaging is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a referral based diagnostic imaging service, located in Spokane, Washington. We offer diagnostic ultrasonography, CT scan, and radiographic interpretation.

IEVI offers the chance of quarterly bonuses, and a great benefits package that includes a matching 401k. Pay is based on experience and ranges between $23-$27 hour.

The right candidate will have experience and exhibit professionalism and compassion.

Expected duties include, but are not limited to:

- Proper animal restraint

- Drug administration – SQ/IM/IV

- Anesthetic procedure prep/monitoring start to finish

- Blood draws and running blood work

- Assist with all diagnostic imaging procedures

- Operate typical clinic equipment: fluid pumps, monitors, in house lab equipment, etc.

- Perform TPR’s, assess patients, assist in emergencies including CPR, monitor critical patients, etc.

- Prepare laboratory samples for Zoetis, Lacuna, & CSU

- Medical charting, maintain logs, and telemedicine

- Maintain a clean and efficient work environment

- Client education

Additional expectations may include, but are not limited to:

- Answering the phones: take messages, make appointments, communicate with clients, etc.

- Staying late past your “clock-out” time

- Maintaining a good attitude in a very busy and unpredictable work environment
