Pet+ER is interested in adding an Urgent Care Veterinarian to the team at our brand-new Hunt Valley, MD location (opened June 2023). We provide 24-hour emergency and critical care services and the highest level of support possible to our patients and their owners. 


The Urgent Care Veterinarian will focus on non-critical cases that enter the emergency department. This position will include care and services of non-critical emergencies, to include skin lacerations, vomiting, limping, ear infections, eye and skin issues, etc. Initial proposed schedule will start with Fri – Mon 2pm to 12am and then likely rotate as the service and team grows. We are interested in speaking with internship trained and/or experienced ER and GP DVMs. 


Our hospital operates under the oversight of our Medical Director, a boarded criticalist. Our state of the art, brand-new facility is equipped to handle the specific needs of each patient. We have a comprehensive suite of equipment and services all under one roof to handle the most severe animal injuries and illnesses, including digital radiology, in-house lab, ICU, surgery suites, oxygen ward, isolation ward, and high flow oxygen. Our facility is shared with board-certified specialists in: 

  • Surgery 
  • Dentistry 
  • Neurology
  • Canine Rehabilitation 
  • Internal Medicine 
  • Oncology 
  • Cardiology 


We have a comprehensive suite of equipment and services all under one roof to handle the most severe animal injuries and illnesses, including: 

  • Digital Radiology 
  • In-House lab 
  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU) 
  • Surgery Suites with Ligasure
  • Oxygen ward 
  • Isolation ward 
  • Around-the-clock care
