Cottonwood and the Verde Valley
Located in the heart of Arizona, the Verde Valley is ideally situated above the heat of the desert and below the cold of Arizona's high country. Cottonwood is surrounded by the red rocks of Sedona, Mingus Mountain elevating to 8,000 feet to the west, and the Mogollon Rim stretching north and east. The low elevation of 3,300 feet and moderate climate make outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, hunting, and biking available all year long. The Verde Valley is home to four beautiful wineries, shopping, and community events. Come enjoy the outdoors and an abundance of activities with a small town feel in Cottonwood, Arizona.
