 We are well-established, non-emergency veterinary practice in Yuma, Arizona seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. This position focuses primarily on preventative care, routine appointments, and surgical support in a calm, organized environment- no after-hours emergencies.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• ·       Assist DVM with routine surgeries (spays, neuters, dentals, mass removals)
• ·       Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• ·       Obtain and process lab samples (blood, urine, fecal)
• ·       Take and interpret vital signs and patient histories
• ·       Place IV catheters, administer medications, and assist with radiology  
• ·       Educate clients on preventive care and post-operative instructions
• ·       Maintain accurate medical records
• ·       Support hospital cleanliness and patient safety

QUALIFICATIONS

• ·       Current Certified/Licensed/Registered Veterinary Technician in Arizona
• ·       Strong anesthesia and surgical assisting skills
• ·       Compassionate, patient-focused approach
• ·       Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
• ·       Excellent communication skills and client service skills
• ·       Motivated self-starter who takes initiative without constant direction.
