Description & Requirements

Vernon Veterinary Clinic requires a full time client service representative/receptionist to join our team.

This individual will be enthusiastic, punctual, responsible with a strong work ethic, flexible and possess the initiative to work individually as well as work well as a team. The clinic is fast paced and the ability to multitask is essential.

 

Job requirements:

     ·    Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patient and pet parents

     ·    Demonstrate experience in a fast-paced environment

     ·    Capable of working autonomously

     ·    Capable of following direction and performing at a high standard

     ·    Ability to work as part of a team

     ·    Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations

     ·    Positive outlook and enthusiasm

     ·    Excellent customer service skills

     ·    Excellent communication skills

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

     ·    Answer phone calls on a multiline phone system

     ·    Schedule appointments on Ezyvet IT system

     ·    Placing outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up and future appointment/bookings

     ·    Respond and manage email correspondence

     ·    Invoicing/billing; creating estimates, process payment

     ·    File documents electronically

     ·    Stock shelves

     ·    Additional administrative & housekeeping duties

 

Job Type: Full time

Hourly rate: $19
