Countryside Veterinary Clinic, a small, two doctor, animal general practice in Henrico, VA. We are looking to fill an open position of a Hospital Assistant.
As a hospital assistant you will rotate through the different roles of the clinic - customer service representative, veterinary assistant, surgical assistant, and kennel technician.
What you will be responsible for as a hospital assistant:
-Ensuring medical records are kept up to date.
-Invoicing clients.
-Clerical Work.
-Answering Phones/Emails/Texts.
-Obtaining medical history.
-Obtaining vitals.
-Restraining for the doctors and veterinary technicians.
- Filling doctor prescribed medications.
-Running lab samples in clinic
-Taking care of boarders.
-Holding for vet techs to sedated surgical patients.
-Cleaning up surgery, surgical instruments, wrapping packs.
