 Experienced Veterinary Assistant Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing high-quality patient care and client support.

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
• Properly restrain animals for exams, treatments, and diagnostics
• Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under supervision
• Collect and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, fecal, etc.)
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Clean and sterilize equipment and exam rooms
• Support surgical and dental procedures as needed
• Provide clear communication and education to clients
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant 
• Strong animal handling and restraint skills
• Knowledge of vaccines, medications, and basic medical procedures
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy setting
• Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and client service skills
