Job Summary: The Oracle Financials Application Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and management of financial reporting systems using Oracle Financials (ERP) and Oracle EPM (EPM). This role involves ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial reports, managing reporting tools and systems, and providing strategic insights to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle financial reporting and tools, specifically Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials and EPM systems. This role will be responsible for managing all EPM and Oracle reporting resources and third-party providers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
o Partner with key business leaders and technical team in defining and developing the company reporting needs and strategies.
o Develop and manage financial reporting systems and processes using ERP and EPM.
o Design and implement reporting solutions to meet business requirements, including ad-hoc, periodic, compliance reports and dashboards.
o Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial reports.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and expectations for permanent and ad hoc reporting requests, to meet the analytical data needs.

2. System Management:
o Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of ERP reporting tools including EPM Planning and Narrative Reporting.
o Collaborate with business users, IT, management and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
o Implement updates and enhancements to reporting systems as needed.
o Partner with report developers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of required reports for Oracle Financials and Oracle EPM

3. Compliance and Governance:
o Ensure financial reporting complies with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards.
o Ensure SOX controls are met by creating and maintaining control documentation and performing compliance testing and auditing for both internal and external controls.
o Mitigate any reporting controls deficiencies.
o Maintain documentation and audit trails for financial reporting processes.
o Manage data security and access controls for financial reporting systems.
o Ensure that IT change management processes are followed.

4. Project Management:
o Lead reporting software selection by assessing the business needs and current challenges to meet key feature objectives and functionality.
o Manage and prioritize reporting projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
o Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
o Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks.

5. Strategic Insights:
o Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities through advanced reporting and analysis.
o Serve as a SME in modeling the reporting solutions, reporting writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
o Work with Finance, Supply Chain and others along with IT teams in building the reporting models and rolling out the framework.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with ERP and EPM Toos, including: OTBI, Oracle BIP, Oracle Analytics, Narrative Reporting and Reporting Studio and SmartView.
• Oracle Enterprise Data Management experience is a plus.
• Proven track record in financial reporting, and data analysis.
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• An understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements around SOX and ITGC controls is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in defining reporting strategies, identification of the appropriate tools to use, and the ability to produce reports.

Working Conditions:
• Full-time position with standard office hours.
• Occasional travel may be required for meetings or project support.
• Fully remote position with up to 20% travel for requirements gathering, UAT, general business meetings.

Compensation
The base compensation range is $150,000-160,000 with opportunity for bonus and benefits.
