Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of regulatory compliance with a focus on DEA, OSHA, and EPA requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing compliance programs in a multi-unit environment and possess in-depth knowledge of DEA, OSHA, and EPA regulations. The Compliance Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective compliance strategies, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to DEA, OSHA, and EPA regulations across all units.
  • Work with the business to conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor changes in DEA, OSHA, and EPA regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote compliance with DEA, OSHA, and EPA requirements.
  • Provide training and education to employees on compliance-related matters, including DEA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
  • Investigate and respond to compliance-related incidents, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and documented.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and act as the primary point of contact for compliance-related inquiries and inspections.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in DEA, OSHA, and EPA compliance to continuously improve the company's compliance program.
  • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory agencies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual obligations related to DEA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
  • Assist with other compliance related projects upon request.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Legal Studies) is required. A relevant Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing compliance programs, veterinary and multi-unit experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of DEA, OSHA, and EPA regulations, with a strong understanding of how they apply to our industry.
• Proven experience in conducting audits, inspections, and investigations related to compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify compliance gaps and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Proficient in using compliance management software and tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional) are a plus.
• Ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues quickly and independently.
• High level of professionalism, work ethic, and integrity with the ability to maintain privileged and confidential information.

Compensation: 
The total compensation range for this position (base salary plus opportunity for bonus) is between $110,000 and $132,000.
