About Us: Golden Veterinary Services is a satellite practice located 1.5 hours from our parent practice in Invermere. We are dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care and exemplary customer service. This entry-level management role is perfect for an RVT looking to balance clinical duties with administrative responsibilities.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a Hospital Care Coordinator/Admin Coordinator to join our team. This full-time, permanent role, working 40 hours per week, is ideal for someone with a passion for veterinary medicine and an interest in leadership. The role is split 75% RVT duties and 25% administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and workflow.
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Ensure exemplary customer service.
• Assist DVM with patient care.
• Submit daily and monthly reports.
• Support DVM recruiting efforts.
• Support annual strategic planning and budgeting.
• Handle accounts payable.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Exciting entry-level management role for the right candidate interested in a balance between medicine and leadership.
• RVT with 1-2 years of management experience (preferred).
• Management/leadership training and support will be provided.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management abilities.
• A love for animals and a dedication to providing top-notch care.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Based on experience ($28-$30 per hour) plus bonus.
