Overview:
NVA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Vendor Contract Performance to join our Procurement Department. This critical role will lead a team responsible for governing contract performance, addressing supplier-related inquiries, and implementing contracts across the organization. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing teams in supplier evaluation, relationship management, RFP issuance and evaluation, and project management related to supplier interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Team Management:
o Lead a team of 2-3 individual contributors in managing day-to-day supplier interactions.
o Hire, train, and develop team members as necessary.
o Conduct bi-annual employee performance reviews.
o Manage the expectations of Procurement, Operations, and Finance stakeholders regarding all supplier-related activities.
• Process & Procedure Development:
o Assess and enhance current processes within the department and with internal stakeholders.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
o Develop and implement reports to evaluate team capacity and performance.
o Analyze supplier reports to determine their impact on internal customers.
o Foster and strengthen relationships with suppliers.
• Procurement Leadership:
o Contribute to the management of departmental objectives as a member of the Procurement leadership team.
o Oversee the scheduling and agenda setting for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
o Support both Indirect and Direct Strategic Sourcing in contract management and vendor relationship development.

Skills and Specifications:
• Extensive experience in supplier management.
• Proven ability to manage teams and engage with stakeholders.
• Strong project management capabilities with proactive and diligent follow-through.
• Strong background in managing supplier-related projects.
• Highly Skilled in MS applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerBI
• Experience with Evisort, and Oracle P2P is preferred.
• Basic understanding of financial concepts such as GL codes, fiscal vs. calendar year date ranges, YTD financial comparisons, and spend seasonality.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to create and implement formal processes.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, especially in time-sensitive reporting situations.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments, field teams, and with external vendors.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supplier management and team development.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in the Animal Health industry is strongly preferred.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $100,000-$130,000 and includes excellent benefits such as health insurance, 401k, and flexible vacation time.
